Lead Project Manager, Northeast Region
Cassondra "Casey" Kinderman serves as a Lead Project Manager for I-HOPE, a statewide opportunity designed to address the effects of health disparities for better health outcomes. In this role, she manages one of five regional Field Implementation Teams, engaging and building relationships across a diverse landscape of partner-, community-based organizations.
Prior to joining the PHA team in 2021, Casey spent seven years at the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH). Her most recent position was as the Maternal and Child Health Division's Home Visiting Program Manager. She was responsible for ensuring availability and access to evidenced-based home visiting services by maintaining collaborative relationships with national model developers, federal project officers, state and regional partners, local implementing agencies, and community organizations; communicating progress and outcomes to funders, partners, and the public; managing contracts and fiscal operations with local implementing agencies, national partners, quality improvement specialists, and performance analysts; all while remaining abreast of current literature regarding the Nurse Family Partnership and home visiting programs throughout the country to inform agency strategy.
Casey also served as the Office of Public Health Performance Management’s Quality Improvement Coordinator, a role in which she supported the strategic mission and vision of the agency through alignment with Public Health Accreditation standards by identifying opportunities for process improvement, executing strategies to sustain improvement; and providing workforce development opportunities for internal staff and local health departments.
Casey earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies (’14) from the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health.
